Sri Lanka Asiri Central Hospital sold down by PE firm

Actis Investment Holdings SL Ltd, a private equity firm has a sold a 10 percent stake in Asiri Central Hospital Ltd, at the same price that it was acquired last August.
Asiri Central Hospital said in a stock exchange filing that 2.25 million shares or 10.07 percent of the firm had been sold to Asiri Hospital Holdings Plc at 250 rupees a share valuing the deal at 562 million rupees.In August 2012, Actis bought 2.41 million shares or a 10.8 percent stake in Asiri Central from Softlogic Holdings and Dai Nishi Securities also for 250 rupees a share.

Asiri Hospital Holdings Plc said in a separate filing that it now owned 98.5 percent of Asiri Central.

 


The Asiri Hospital network is controlled by the Softlogic group.
