But faced with online accusations from cynics it's all part of a money-making plan, reality TV star Kim Kardashian has rubbished claims she's having her baby for publicity.
Speaking exclusively to our sister site in the US omg!, Kimmy K said: "I couldn't care less what anyone thinks or says. For this, for publicity. You don't have a child for those types of reasons."
Reports suggest that despite only being 12 weeks into her pregnancy, already offers have flooded in that will make the reality TV star and her child millions.
A celebrity expert told The Huffington Post: “The last time a pregnancy caused this much attention was when Angelina and Brad were expecting twins in 2008. Those images sold for a record-breaking $14 million.”
Because of changes in the mag industry, the first exclusive images of Kim’s baby will get nowhere near that amount, but overall she is set to make almost that.
He added: “The first images of Kim’s baby could sell for as much as $3 million. But just like she did on her wedding, Kim will be able to make money from TV specials, gifts, baby showers and baby parties."

She said it wasn't until her sister Khloe Kardashian was having problems conceiving that she looked into her own situation.
Kim said: "Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues and I was always quiet about mine.
"I found out about it when I took Khloe to go get her fertility checked [at the end of Season 7 of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'] and I did all the blood work with her and the doctor said your hormones are really low, you should really freeze your eggs.
"So I got all the information and I got off the pill and I was about to start and I got pregnant."
Meanwhile Kimmy K stepped out in her latest maternity outfit that resembled a rather famous character from our TV screens.
Donning an androgynous suit and white shirt, the brunette appeared to be channelling the Go Compare! man. Well that's what we thought anyway...
